What A Woman Should Want

Sisters, are you waiting for ‘Mr. Right’? Does he exist? How will you ever find him? How long do you have to wait? Are you tired of waiting? Are you settling for ‘he may be ‘the one’? Have you already married to your ‘Knight in Shining Armor’, ‘Mr. Prince Charming’ himself? But he has now fallen off the horse, and has a huge dent in that armor? You see that your happily ever after doesn’t really sound as appealing? He’s not all that you thought he would be? Are your eyes wandering to watch others who have the ‘perfect’ Cinderella story going on? BUT you have prayed and prayed for God to intervene. You did as Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” You may even feel like you have tried to beat the door down in asking, seeking and knocking; yet nothing has happened. Prayers go unanswered. Why? Doesn’t God care how you feel? You just want be loved the way you think you should be, right? Is that too much to ask? I am a Princess, right? Doesn’t God give good gifts to His children? Why isn’t He hearing me? Have you thrown your hands up and said, ‘Enough is enough’! Now you say, ‘it’s time to take things in to your own hands and make things happen’?

Do any of these thoughts or questions plague you? This next question can be the question and the answer all in one to all of those plaguing questions. Is your life so hidden in Christ that a man (future or present) has to seek Him to find you? Hmm, very thought provoking question, isn’t it? Any man that you desire, whether you are presently married or waiting for ‘the one’, should open his Bible more than the door for you, but first and foremost, YOU need to be a woman of the word!!!

You say your heart’s desire is to have the ‘perfect’ relationship? Well Beloved Sisters, then here it is:

“You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Psalm 16:11

“Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Whether you a ‘woman in waiting’ or already married to Mr. Prince Charming who has tarnished his shining armor, if you put your trust in your ABBA Father (Daddy God), He will make known the path of life and direct your steps, giving you the desires of your heart, because in His right hand there are pleasures forever. There is no perfect earthly “Cinderella” relationship. If you have the best marriage ever it’s because you know the secret already to hiding your heart in Christ, and are not allowing your fullness of joy to come from a man (even if he is the true Mr. Right Prince Charming Knight in Shining Armor), but from Christ. Now, Sisters, let me just say, He IS the true Mr. Right Prince Charming Knight in Shining Armor and has the scars to prove it! He WILL be coming on the white horse for His Princess Bride, and it WILL be Simply Beautiful by His design!!!
