1.  Give or get yourself a manicure regularly

  2. Use a hand lotion

  3. Keep your nails hydrated by massaging them with coconut oil or olive oil

  4. Avoid removers with acetone or formaldehyde.  They will dry out your nails and make them weak.

  5. Do NOT file in ‘see-saw’ motion, rather file from corner to center

  6. Use a soft buffer to massage nail beds lightly

  7. Take biotin daily.  It creates strong healthy nails.

  8. Do NOT share nail files.  Use your own.  Sharing can spread bacteria.

  9. Drink plenty of water.

  10. Do not cut the nails too short. This will result in growth of bacteria in your nails.
